- About Us

At Mediherbs, we bridge ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern wellness through our meticulously crafted herbal teas. Rooted in a 500-year-old Sri Lankan lineage of Ayurvedic physicians, our journey began in 2004 under the guidance of revered practitioners like Dr. W.I. Fernando, whose legacy continues through his descendants, including Dr. Darshanie Wattage.
Steeped in traditions preserved through generations, our recipes—like Diabina (Madan Pothu leaf, Kothalahimbutu vine) and LongLife (Beli Gata, Neeramulliya)—are derived from time-tested Ayurvedic manuscripts. These blends survived colonial eras through familial teachings (gurukula), ensuring authenticity remains untouched.
We honor the past while embracing innovation. Using GMP-certified stainless steel extractors and low-temperature dehydration, we preserve the potency of wild-harvested, organic herbs. Every product is rigorously tested and approved by Sri Lanka’s Department of Ayurveda, guaranteeing therapeutic efficacy without artificial additives.
From regenerative farming of Senna flowers to biodegradable tea bags, sustainability is core to our ethos. Our teas, like Constap and Gluteala, are more than remedies—they’re gateways to holistic living, paired with Ayurvedic lifestyle guides for total mind-body harmony.
Trusted in Sri Lanka and beyond, we blend cultural authenticity with modern convenience, offering wellness that’s pure, proven, and rooted in centuries of wisdom.
“Where ancient healing meets tomorrow’s vitality.”
